At a year’s interval, the Istria MTB Tartufi Tour - Parenzana 2004 is going to take place again, an event which, thanks to its special formula, has aroused remarkable success. A trial involving three days of racing, combines the fighting spirit with the possibility to experience the peculiarities of the Region. This year it will be held in Porec, a town of pleasant sun and warm sea, as well as town of many cultural monuments.
The event has been admitted to the UCI - International Cycling Union's calendar as a Category E1 event. A very tough and exciting competition is expected since the riders will be awarded UCI world points.
The accommodation for riders has been provided by the tourist companies Plava Laguna d.d. and Riviera Holding d.d at a special and favorable price. Refreshments for competitors during the event will be offered by sponsors.
